Device Permissions
If you turn on game alerts, What Channel asks your device for notification permission so it can schedule reminders before selected games. You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
What Channel does not request precise location permission. If you enter a ZIP code, it is used as a market setting for broadcast and regional availability context.
How Information Is Used
The app uses your saved preferences to organize games, show favorite teams first, display relevant providers, and prepare local game-start reminders.
Schedule, score, provider, ticket, radio, promotion, and boxscore content may be loaded from third-party data sources or websites. Those services may receive standard technical request information when their content or links are opened.
Third-Party Links
Game cards may open broadcaster apps, streaming services, radio pages, team pages, league pages, ESPN pages, SeatGeek pages, or other external websites. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Advertising And Sale Of Data
What Channel does not sell personal information. This build does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
Data Storage And Controls
Saved app preferences are stored on your device. You can change favorite teams, providers, ZIP code, and alert settings from inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete locally stored app preferences.
Children
What Channel is a sports utility app and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
